Moose Baxter (John Morris Baxter) was born on July 27, 1876 in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. He made his Major League debut on April 19, 1907 for the St. Louis Cardinals. Baxter played for the St. Louis Cardinals for his entire 1 year career.
