Monty Lantz (Montgomery Stoffal Lantz) was born on November 24, 1903 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Westinghouse (Pittsburgh, PA), Lantz attended Grove City College. Lantz made his professional debut in the NFL in 1933 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates for his entire 1 year career.
