Mitch Palmer (Richard Mitchell Palmer) was born on September 2, 1973 in Oceanside, California. After going to high school at Poway (CA), Palmer attended Colorado State University. Palmer made his professional debut in the NFL in 1998 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Minnesota Vikings over the course of his 3 year career.
