Mitch Meluskey (Mitchell Wade Meluskey) was born on September 18, 1973 in Yakima, Washington. He made his Major League debut on August 30, 1998 for the Houston Astros. In 2000, his rookie year, he hit .300 with 14 home runs and 69 RBI. Meluskey played for the Houston Astros and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that Mitch Meluskey's best season was 2000, when he hit for a .300 average and knocked in 69 runs.
