Born on November 13, 1905 in Sherman, Texas, Milt Shoffner (Milburn James Shoffner) played for the Cleveland Indians, Boston Braves and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 7 year career. Shoffner broke into the bigs on July 20, 1929 with the Cleveland Indians, and put up a 7.97 ERA in 84.2 innings pitched in 1930, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Milt Shoffner's best season was 1938, when he posted a 3.54 ERA.
