This is a list of milestones, exciting or boring, on the brink of being surpassed. Bonds is on there again because last week he didn't surpass the 600 doubles mark.

I'm pretty surprised at how many hit Lofton has and at how many at-bats Paul Konerko's racked up. Nice job!

1000 strikeouts for Billy Wagner too. Pretty good, especially for a reliever. That's probably the milestone out of this bunch that I'm looking forward to see the most.

Look at it this way. Billy Wagner is one of the most underrated relievers in history. He's 7th in career saves, has a 1.002 career WHIP, and a 2.32 career ERA. He's a 5 time all-star (don't know he's only been in an all-star game 5 times) and in 1999. Just look at the stats: He had 1 bad season in 2000, where he had an ERA of 6.18. Just imagine what his stats would be if that season was eliminated.

Woops, I didn't finish. He has 161 more strikeouts than Mariano Rivera, and his career started after Mariano's did (about 4 months), but that really doesn't matter. I'm sure that if he was a closer from the very start of his career, like Mariano and Hoffman did, he'd be talked about a lot more. BTW, his WHIP is better than both Hoffman's and Mo's, and so is his ERA.
