Mike Strachan (Michael David Strachan) was born on May 24, 1953 in Miami, Florida. After going to high school at Jackson (Miami, FL), Strachan attended Iowa State University. Strachan made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints for his entire 10 year career.

Most people believe that 1975 was Mike Strachan's best year, as he ran for 668 yards.
