Born on August 26, 1917 in Berlin, Pennsylvania, Mike Naymick (Michael John Naymick) played for the Cleveland Indians and St. Louis Cardinals over the course of his 4 year career. Naymick broke into the bigs on September 24, 1939 with the Cleveland Indians, and put up a 2.30 ERA in 62.2 innings pitched in 1943, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Mike Naymick's best season was 1943, when he posted a 2.30 ERA.
