Born on July 30, 1959 in Rochester, New York, Mike Jones (Michael Carl Jones) played for the Kansas City Royals for his entire 4 year career. Jones broke into the bigs on September 6, 1980 with the Kansas City Royals, and put up a 3.21 ERA in 75.2 innings pitched in 1981, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Mike Jones's best season was 1981, when he posted a 3.21 ERA.
