Mike Haffner (Michael Arthur Haffner) was born on July 7, 1942 in Waterloo, Iowa. After going to high school at Baldwin Park (CA), Haffner attended the University of California - Los Angeles. Haffner made his professional debut in the AFL in 1968 with the Denver Broncos. He played in the AFL for 2 years, playing for the Denver Broncos the entire time. Haffner also played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Cincinnati Bengals and Denver Broncos over the course of his 2 year NFL career.

Most people believe that 1969 was Mike Haffner's best year, as he hauled in 35 receptions, had 563 receiving yards and caught 5 TD passes.
