Born on December 19, 1964 in Van Nuys, California, Mike Fetters (Michael Lee Fetters) played for the California Angels, Milwaukee Brewers, Oakland Athletics, Anaheim Angels, Baltimore Orioles, Los Angeles Dodgers, Pittsburgh Pirates, Arizona Diamondbacks and Minnesota Twins over the course of his 16 year career. Fetters broke into the bigs on September 1, 1989 with the California Angels, and put up a 4.12 ERA in 67.2 innings pitched in 1990, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Mike Fetters's best season was 1996, when he posted a 3.38 ERA, notched 32 saves and struck out 53 batters.
