Mike Easler (Michael Anthony Easler) was born on November 29, 1950 in Cleveland, Ohio. He made his Major League debut on September 5, 1973 for the Houston Astros. In 1980, his rookie year, he hit .338 with 21 home runs and 74 RBI. Easler played for the Houston Astros, California Angels, Pittsburgh Pirates, Boston Red Sox, New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 12 year career.

Most people believe that Mike Easler's best season was 1984, when he slugged 27 home runs, hit for a .313 average and knocked in 91 runs.
