[edit] 1967

  • In the last Stanley Cup Finals of the Original Six Era, the Toronto Maple Leafs stun the defending champion Montreal Canadiens in six games, winning the clincher 3-1, as Terry Sawchuk makes 40 saves, while Captain George Armstrong seals the victory with an empty netter. This win would seal the Leafs' 13th Stanley Cup.

[edit] 1984

[edit] 2002

  • Seattle Mariners outfielder Mike Cameron becomes the 13th player in MLB history to slug 4 home runs in a single game. His bid for a 5th homer reaches the warning track in right field. The Mariners routed the Chicago White Sox 15-4.
