Maxie Baughan (Maxie Calloway Baughan, Jr.) was born on August 3, 1938 in Forkland, Alabama. After going to high school at Bessemer (AL), Baughan attended Georgia Institure of Technology. Baughan made his professional debut in the NFL in 1960 with the Philadelphia Eagles. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles, Los Angeles Rams and Washington Redskins over the course of his 12 year career.
Most people believe that 1967 was Maxie Baughan's best year, as he picked off 4 passes.
