Maury Schleicher (Maurice G. Schleicher) was born on July 17, 1937 in Walnutport, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Slatington (PA), Schleicher attended Pennsylvania State University. Schleicher made his professional debut in the NFL in 1959 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Chicago Cardinals the entire time. Schleicher also played in the AFL for 3 years, playing for the San Diego Chargers and Los Angeles Chargers over the course of his 3 year AFL career.
Most people believe that 1960 was Maury Schleicher's best year.
