Matt Stover (John Matthew Stover) was born on January 27, 1968 in Dallas, Texas. After going to high school at Lake Highlands (Dallas, TX), Stover attended Louisiana Institute of Technology. Stover made his professional debut in the NFL in 1991 with the Cleveland Browns. He has played for the Baltimore Ravens and Cleveland Browns over the course of his 16 year career.
Most people believe that 2003 was Matt Stover's best year, as he made 33 field goals.
