Matt Gay (Matthew Gilbert Gay) was born on April 3, 1970 in Chicago, Illinois. After going to high school at Senn Metropolitan Academy (Chicago, IL), Gay attended the University of Kansas. Gay made his professional debut in the NFL in 1994 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs for his entire 1 year career.
