Matt Cushing (Matthew Jay Cushing) was born on July 2, 1975 in South Bend, Indiana. After going to high school at Mount Carmel (Chicago, IL), Cushing attended the University of Illinois. Cushing made his professional debut in the NFL in 1999 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 6 year career.

Most people believe that 2001 was Matt Cushing's best year.
