Marv Staehle (Marvin Gustave Staehle) was born on March 13, 1942 in Oak Park, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on September 15, 1964 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1970, his rookie year, he hit .218 with 0 home runs and 26 RBI. Staehle played for the Chicago White Sox, Montreal Expos and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 5 year career.
