Marv Foley (Marvis Edwin Foley) was born on August 29, 1953 in Stanford, Kentucky. He made his Major League debut on September 11, 1978 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1980, his rookie year, he hit .212 with 4 home runs and 15 RBI. Foley played for the Chicago White Sox and Texas Rangers over the course of his 5 year career.
