Marq Cerqua (Marq Vincent Cerqua) was born on April 3, 1977 in Greenville, South Carolina. After going to high school at Greenville (SC), Cerqua attended Carson-Newman College and Furman University. Cerqua made his professional debut in the NFL in 2001 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers over the course of his 2 year career.
