Marlin Mckeever (Marlin Thomas McKeever) was born on January 1, 1940 in Cheyenne, Wyoming. After going to high school at Mount Carmel (Los Angeles, CA), Mckeever attended the University of Southern California. Mckeever made his professional debut in the NFL in 1961 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams, Washington Redskins, Philadelphia Eagles and Minnesota Vikings over the course of his 13 year career.

Most people believe that 1965 was Marlin Mckeever's best year, as he hauled in 44 receptions, had 542 receiving yards and caught 4 TD passes.
