Mark Muprhy (Mark Hodge Murphy) was born on July 13, 1955 in Fulton, New York. After going to high school at Clarence Central (Williamsville, KY), Muprhy attended Colgate University. Muprhy made his professional debut in the NFL in 1977 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins for his entire 8 year career.
Most people believe that 1983 was Mark Muprhy's best year, as he picked off 9 passes.
