Mark Markovich (Mark James Markovich) was born on November 7, 1952 in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Central Catholic (Greensburg, PA), Markovich attended Pennsylvania State University. Markovich made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the San Diego Chargers. He played for the Detroit Lions and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 4 year career.
