Born on December 7, 1930 in Memphis, Tennessee, Mark Freeman (Mark Price Freeman) played for the New York Yankees, Kansas City Athletics and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 2 year career. Freeman broke into the bigs on April 18, 1959 with the New York Yankees, and put up a 5.63 ERA in 76.2 innings pitched in 1960, his rookie year.
