Born on April 14, 1953 in Portsmouth, Virginia, Mark Bomback (Mark Vincent Bomback) played for the Milwaukee Brewers, New York Mets and Toronto Blue Jays over the course of his 4 year career. Bomback broke into the bigs on September 12, 1978 with the Milwaukee Brewers, and put up a 4.09 ERA in 162.2 innings pitched in 1980, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Mark Bomback's best season was 1980, when he posted a 4.09 ERA, won 10 games and struck out 68 batters.
