Marion Campbell (Francis Marion Campbell) was born on May 25, 1929 in Chester, South Carolina. After going to high school at Chester (SC), Campbell attended the University of Georgia. Campbell made his professional debut in the NFL in 1954 with the San Francisco 49ers. He played for the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers over the course of his 8 year career.
Most people believe that 1955 was Marion Campbell's best year.
