Marcus Giles (Marcus William Giles) was born on May 18, 1978 in San Diego, California. He made his Major League debut on April 17, 2001 for the Atlanta Braves. In 2001, his rookie year, he hit .262 with 9 home runs and 31 RBI. Giles played for the Atlanta Braves for his entire 7year career.
Most people believe that Marcus Giles's best season was 2003, when he slugged 21 home runs, hit for a .316 average and knocked in 69 runs.
