[edit] BiographyAcquired Drafted by Calgary in the first round (seventh overall) in the 2003 CFL Canadian Draft. Played in 15 regular season games with Calgary and the Western Semi-Final…was an impact player on special teams recording 14 special team tackles...Calixte has also seen some time on defense where he recorded 11 defensive tackles…he recorded back to back five defensive tackle games against B.C. on August 12 and Montreal on August 18...his best game on special teams came on September 5th in the Labour Day Classic where he recorded 3 special team tackles. Played in 10 regular season games with Calgary...spent majority of time on special teams and recorded two defensive tackles, five special team tackles and one tackle for a loss. Played in 17 of 18 games with the Stampeders...played on special teams where he recorded two special team tackles...the first came against Hamilton on October 3...Calixte played his first ever CFL regular season game at McMahon Stadium June 17 vs the Montreal Alouettes. College Attended Tennessee-Martin...played linebacker for three seasons for the Skyhawks...in 2002 he recorded 82 total tackles...in 2001 he recorded a total of 45 tackles...in 2000 he recorded 62 total tackles...provided one of the team's top highlits during the 1999 season when he returned a recovered fumble 95 yards for a touchdown against Samford.
