Born on January 19, 1862 in Glasgow, Scotland, Mac MacArthur (Malcolm M. MacArthur) played for the Indianapolis Blues for his entire 1 year career. MacArthur broke into the bigs on May 2, 1884 with the Indianapolis Blues, and put up a 5.02 ERA in 52 innings pitched in 1884, his rookie year.
