M.L. Carter (Milton Louis Carter) was born on December 9, 1955 in Beaufort, South Carolina. After going to high school at Monterey (CA), Carter attended California State University, Fullerton, Monterey Peninsula College and San Jose State University. Carter made his professional debut in the NFL in 1979 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1979 was M.L. Carter's best year, as he picked off 3 passes.
