Lyle Overbay (Lyle Stefan Overbay) was born on January 28, 1977 in Centralia, Washington. He made his Major League debut on September 19, 2001 for the Arizona Diamondbacks. In 2003, his rookie year, he hit .276 with 4 home runs and 28 RBI. Overbay played for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Milwaukee Brewers and Toronto Blue Jays over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that Lyle Overbay's best season was 2006, when he slugged 22 home runs, hit for a .312 average and knocked in 92 runs.
