Luther Jeralds (Luther Reginald Jeralds) was born on August 20, 1938 in Roberson County, North Carolina. After going to high school at E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC), Jeralds attended North Carolina Central University. Jeralds made his professional debut in the AFL in 1961 with the Dallas Texans. He played for the Dallas Texans for his entire 1 year career.
