Luke Easter (Luscious Luke Easter) was born on August 4, 1915 in Jonestown, Mississippi. He made his Major League debut on August 11, 1949 for the Cleveland Indians. In 1950, his rookie year, he hit .280 with 28 home runs and 107 RBI. Easter played for the Cleveland Indians for his entire 5 year career.

Most people believe that Luke Easter's best season was 1950, when he slugged 28 home runs, hit for a .280 average and knocked in 107 runs.
