Louis Carter (Louis Edward Carter) was born on February 6, 1953 in Laurel, Maryland. After going to high school at Arundel (Laurel, MD), Carter attended the University of Maryland. Carter made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the Oakland Raiders. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Oakland Raiders over the course of his 4 year career.
Most people believe that 1976 was Louis Carter's best year.
