Lou Tepe (Louis Charles Tepe) was born on June 18, 1930 in North Bergen, New Jersey. After going to high school at Dwight Morrow (Engelwood, NJ), Tepe attended Duke University. Tepe made his professional debut in the NFL in 1953 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 3 year career.
Most people believe that 1954 was Lou Tepe's best year, as he picked off 3 passes.
