Lou Midler (Louis Thomas Midler) was born on July 21, 1915 in St. Paul, Minnesota. After going to high school at Washington (St. Paul, MN), Midler attended the University of Minnesota. Midler made his professional debut in the NFL in 1939 with the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played for the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 2 year career.
