Proposal - 2008 ArmchairGM 8-ball Championship
In 2008, I would love to hold an ArmchairGM 8-ball Pool tournament.
We can use Yahoo, so you are less likely to have to worry about setting up an account etc. It would be very easy to organise, because the two players in a match can choose exactly when they want to play. Because we're using Yahoo, 8-ball is the only pool option we have.
For that to happen though, there would need to be enough entries to make it all worthwhile. It will be straight knockout if it happened, so if we didn't have a number which was 2^an integer, then a few players would get first round byes (by luck of the draw).
Match length can be discussed, but I think it must be no shorter than 7 racks. We can take all year to play it if needs be. So you don't need to play all the racks at once. If you would like to enter, by adding your name to the list below. I shall invite some people, but I figured I'd throw it open to everyone too.
