Lew Skinner (Lewis Brittan Skinner) was born on May 29, 1898 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Skinner attended none. Skinner made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Hammond Pros. He played in the APFA for 1 year, playing for the Hammond Pros the entire time. Skinner also played in the NFL for 1 year, playing for the Evansville Crimson Giants the entire time.
