Les Gatewood (Lester B. Gatewood) was born on May 30, 1921 in Dallas, Texas. Gatewood attended Baylor University and Tulane University. Gatewood made his professional debut in the NFL in 1946 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1947 was Les Gatewood's best year.
