Les Cowan (Leslie Lowden Cowan) was born on December 24, 1925 in Stamford, Texas. After going to high school at Hamlin (TX), Cowan attended McMurry University. Cowan made his professional debut in the NFL in 1951 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 1 year career.
