Leon Simmons (Leon Simmons) was born on September 27, 1938 in Dallas, Texas. After going to high school at Lincoln (Dallas, TX), Simmons attended Grambling State University. Simmons made his professional debut in the AFL in 1963 with the Denver Broncos. He played for the Denver Broncos for his entire 1 year career.
