Born on November 20, 1890 in Chicago, Illinois, Leon Cadore (Leon Joseph Cadore) played for the Brooklyn Superbas, Brooklyn Robins, Chicago White Sox and New York Giants over the course of his 10 year career. Cadore broke into the bigs on April 28, 1915 with the Brooklyn Superbas, and put up a 2.45 ERA in 264 innings pitched in 1917, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Leon Cadore's best season was 1917, when he posted a 2.45 ERA, won 13 games and struck out 115 batters.
