Lenny Sachs (Leonard David Sachs) was born on August 7, 1897 in Chicago, Illinois. Sachs attended Depaul University and Loyola University Chicago. Sachs made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played in the APFA for 2 years, playing for the Chicago Cardinals the entire time. Sachs also played in the NFL for 5 years, playing for the Milwaukee Badgers, Louisville Colonels, Hammond Pros and Chicago Cardinals over the course of his 5 year NFL career.
Most people believe that 1920 was Lenny Sachs's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
