Len Charpier (Leonard Louis Charpier) was born on February 17, 1897 in Washington Heights, Illinois. After going to high school at Curtis (Chicago, IL), Charpier attended the University of Illinois. Charpier made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Chicago Cardinals. He played for the Chicago Cardinals for his entire 1 year career.
