Lee Folkins (Lloyd Leroy Folkins) was born on July 4, 1939 in Wallace, Idaho. After going to high school at Roosevelt (Seattle, WA), Folkins attended the University of Washington. Folkins made his professional debut in the NFL in 1961 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Dallas Cowboys, Pittsburgh Steelers and Green Bay Packers over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that 1962 was Lee Folkins's best year, as he hauled in 39 receptions, had 536 receiving yards and caught 6 TD passes.
