Larry Garron (Lawrence Garron, Jr.) was born on May 23, 1937 in Mark, Mississippi. After going to high school at Argo (IL), Garron attended Western Illinois University. Garron made his professional debut in the AFL in 1960 with the Boston Patriots. He played for the Boston Patriots for his entire 9 year career.

Most people believe that 1963 was Larry Garron's best year, as he ran for 750 yards and had 693 kick return yards.
