Larry Brunson (Larry R. Brunson) was born on August 11, 1949 in Little Rock, Arkansas. After going to high school at Cortez (CO), Brunson attended Mesa Community College and the University of Colorado. Brunson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1974 with the Kansas City Chiefs. He played for the Kansas City Chiefs, Oakland Raiders and Denver Broncos over the course of his 7 year career.

Most people believe that 1976 was Larry Brunson's best year, as he had 656 receiving yards.
