[edit] BiographyAcquired: Selected by BC in the first round (sixth overall) in the 2006 Ottawa Dispersal Draft. Banks led the CFL with 10 interceptions, two of which he returned for a touchdown. He finished the campaign with 44 tackles, 12 pass knockdowns, two forced fumbles and one fumble recovery. Banks was acquired in a trade with the Edmonton Eskimos late in the regular season and arrived in late September in time to play the last three games of the regular season after being on the practice roster Week 15...Game 16 @ Hamilton: knocked down two passes...Game 17 @ Montreal: Had three defensive tackles...Game 18 vs. Hamilton: Made four tackles. Banks signed as an undrafted rookie free agent with the Miami Dolphins in 2003. He went to training camp with the Miami Dolphins but was waived on Aug. 31. He then signed to the team's practice squad on Nov. 11 and spent two games there before being released on Nov. 24. Re-signed by the Dolphins on Dec. 31, 2003. College Played his final two years (2001-02) at Mississippi State University after transferring from Garden City (Kan.) Community College, where he also played two seasons (1999-2000)... With the Mississippi State Bulldogs, he started all 23 games in which he played, including 11 at right cornerback as a junior and 12 on the left side his senior season... Concluded his career with 93 tackles, seven interceptions, 26 pass breakups and two forced fumbles... Also fielded 20 punts for a 9.7-yard average with a long of 57... Prepped at Santaluces High School in Boynton Beach, Fla., where he helped the team to a district championship and into the state playoffs in two of his three seasons as a cornerback and punt returner... Also lettered in track and basketball... Personal Has two sons, Korey, Jr. (10/11/1998) and Kamden (1/2/2003)... He is cousins with Renegade quarterback Brad Banks, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Anquan Boldin, former Miami Dolphins running back Autry Denson, and former Iowa wide receiver C.J.
