[edit] Scouting Report
Barton is the senior leader of the Ohio State offensive line having lettered in all four of his years at Ohio State. Despite being one of the top offensive tackles in the country, some believe that he would transfer better to the NFL as a guard. Barton excels at pass blocking and has good lateral mobility, but can be a little slow out of his stance. He is an intense competitor with good strength and leg drive that, when combined with his excellent technique, allow him to hold off bigger defenders. Look for Barton to be a second or third round pick.
